I was born in Colombia, raised with strong values, deep faith, and a resilient spirit. At 14 years old, I moved to the United States — carrying my roots, my culture, and a quiet determination to build a meaningful life.
I became a mother at a young age. Today, I am a proud single mom to two beautiful girls who inspire me daily. They are my reason, my strength, and my reminder to stay grounded
and present.
My journey hasn’t always been easy — but I never gave up.

Over the years, I’ve learned that success isn’t just about growth — it’s about balance. It’s about evolving as a woman, a mother, and a business owner without losing your values. There was a time when I wore more glam, thinking that more meant better. But I learned something powerful: too much on the outside doesn’t fix what needs healing on the inside. That realization changed my artistry. I began creating softer, refined looks — beauty that enhances rather than masks. I started helping women connect with their confidence from within, not just transform their
reflection in the mirror.
Today, through Makeup by Monika, I lead a talented team providing makeup, hair, and content creation — capturing candid, behind-the-scenes moments of brides getting ready,
laughter between friends, and the quiet emotions before “I do.” Because those moments matter.
As my business evolved, so did my purpose.
That’s how I Am Moni B was born — my podcast and personal platform where I uplift women, speak about inner growth, faith, confidence, and the power of investing in yourself.
The energy I bring to my clients and my audience is not accidental. It’s a gift, one I believe God placed in my heart to spread kindness, empower women, and remind them to honorand respect themselves from within.
